You don't have to be on the tenure track to enjoy the advice given here! Crane writes with such an engaging style (and with wit and dry humour) one feels compelled to follow his suggestions in an Emily Post kind of way, no matter what field one is in. After all, since, as Crane points out, planning is multidisciplinary, planning to be a good planner should make one a good citizen in many disciplines! As the picture says "Good advice for young trendy people of all ages" (and stages of academic development)! Bravo.
